Website privacy information
This is a marketing and legal website for the Chinese Writer Android and iOS apps. We do not offer a web app. The homepage handwriting preview is a demonstration: its strokes stay in the browser tab, are not saved or uploaded, and are discarded when you leave or reload. App screenshots and the sample diary book use fictional demonstration entries.
Cloudflare delivers and protects this website; it is not a backend for the mobile apps. A browser request necessarily involves processing connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, timestamp, browser headers and security events. We use this processing to deliver the website and prevent abuse. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing and protecting the website, Article 6(1)(f).
We do not add advertising trackers, analytics cookies, external font services or a visitor-profile database. Cloudflare security checks may use strictly necessary cookies. We do not maintain a separate log of individual visitors; provider retention depends on the operational or security data involved and its service policies.
Website request data may be processed outside your country. Cloudflare describes its processing and international transfer safeguards in its privacy policy and Data Processing Addendum.
To exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or other privacy rights, contact the company above. You may also complain to your competent data-protection authority. The app privacy policy separately explains local diary and learning data.

The handwriting demo uses stroke medians from Hanzi Writer Data by David Chanin, derived from Make Me a Hanzi and fonts by Arphic Technology Co., Ltd., under the Arphic Public License. The demo changes their presentation and animation. Website typography uses Inter and Noto Sans SC under the SIL Open Font License.
